Master Coaching – When a tree falls in the forest

There is a philosophical argument. That if a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there to hear it, then it will not make a noise. Scientifically we know that this is not correct, but many philosophers have advanced strong arguments to support this hypothesis.

Master Coaching Australia – Robert Ollis

I am somewhat like that tree in that. I have penned a number of educational articles that for all intents and purposes will remain unread. Fortunately, in the two weeks leading up to Christmas, I met a gentleman at Penrith station. He recognised me and said he actually enjoyed my articles. You have no idea how please I was to hear that. And just two days later at Aldi in Penrith, I struck up a conversation with another reader.

In the next few weeks, I wish to outline my recent trip to Vietnam, where I hope to expand the name of Master Coaching and our unique philosophy and coaching techniques.

An Australian businessman, who has resided in Vietnam for a number of years, wished to take part in burgeoning private education business that has taken root in that country. His challenge to me was to go to Vietnam and prove that Master Coaching was applicable to that country. And that I did indeed have something to offer.

The nature of the challenge would be my performance in coaching a number of students of their selection in a mathematical topic of their choice. Specifically, they planned to prepare students who had continued to fail at some course or topic.

I have faced these challenges most of my life. And my belief that any student can succeed at the highest level, made this task no more daunting than the coaching goals. That I have set myself every day since Master Coaching started in 1984.

The results of the first test will be given next week.
