Jeremy’s Story – Master Coaching Australia

Robert Ollis – Master Coaching Australia coached Jeremy from 1984 (Yr 7) to 1989 (Yr 12 4 unit).

My Story

I firmly believe that Master Coaching Australia was the sole drivers in my personal development through my secondary education. And this is my story, I started Master Coaching Australia towards the end of year 7. At that time, I barely understood some of the basic principles of mathematics. My times tables were okay, my arithmetic was okay, however, my understanding of fractions was poor. For this reason, I was placed into the fourth highest class. Then I was ranked 90 th or so in the form of around 200 students.

The next few years saw the development of my mathematics. I was pushed up a class almost each year. And by year 10, I was sitting firmly in the top maths class, 10A1. Because my knowledge increased and I achieved a top mark for maths, improvements in other subjects were also noticeable.

There is no denying that years 11 and 12 are difficult, stressful and over bearing at times. However, it was with great tutelage from Master Coaching Australia. Because of that, I went on to complete 4 unit mathematics in the HSC. Then I topped the exam with a mark in excess of 190 out of a possible 200. Thus, this mark alone provided me with around 50% of my total HSC mark and enabled me to get into my first choice of University.

Today, I am a Senior Development Manager for a large development company in Sydney, where I oversee major developments from acquisition to design, planning, approvals, construction and marketing.
